Evaporative condensers (commonly abbreviated as ‘evaporative coolers’ within the industry) are highly efficient heat exchange equipment that utilise the principle of heat absorption during water evaporation for heat dissipation.
They ingeniously combine the advantages of both air-cooled and water-cooled systems: integrating the functions of shell-and-tube condensers with cooling towers into a single unit. Refrigerant circulates within the coil, while external cooling is achieved through spray water and powerful fans. It currently represents the most effective solution for achieving low condensing temperatures and reducing compressor energy consumption.
