This fully integrated control cabinet is specifically designed for cold chain applications demanding exceptional power stability. It incorporates a microprocessor-based temperature control system alongside an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) system.
Core Value: Upon detecting mains power failure, phase loss, or voltage instability, the system performs millisecond-level detection and automatically switches to the backup power source (generator or secondary mains supply). This ensures uninterrupted operation of refrigeration units, completely eliminating the risk of goods spoilage due to power outages.

2. Core Operating Principle

Functioning as the cold storage facility's ‘brain’ and ‘guardian’, the system comprises two principal modules working in tandem:
ATS Automatic Switching Module (The Changeover Logic):
Mains Priority: Under normal conditions, the system locks onto the primary mains supply.
Fault Detection: Upon detecting mains power loss, phase failure, or voltage anomalies, the system immediately disconnects the primary circuit.

Automatic Start-up and Switchover: The system sends a start signal to the standby generator. Once generator voltage stabilises, it automatically closes the circuit, transferring the load to the generator circuit.
Automatic Reset: Upon mains power restoration, the system performs a delayed confirmation (to prevent false recovery) before automatically switching back to mains supply and controlling generator shutdown.
Refrigeration Logic Control Module:
Regardless of the power source in use, the control cabinet consistently manages precise operation of compressors, evaporators, and defrost heaters to maintain constant warehouse temperature.

Fully Automatic Unattended Operation: Eliminates the need for manual intervention to switch power sources during night-time hours. The switching process is fully automated, significantly reducing operational and maintenance labour costs.
Multi-layered Motor Protection:
Phase Loss/Reversal Protection: Prevents damage to three-phase compressors caused by reverse connection or phase loss in the power supply.
Overload/Short-Circuit Protection: Each component (compressor, fan, defrost system) features independent circuit breakers and thermal overload relays.
Mechanical & Electrical Interlock: Ensures both power sources remain disconnected simultaneously (preventing mains-generator ‘collision’ short circuits), guaranteeing absolute electrical system safety.
Defrost Control: Incorporates electric heating defrost, water-flush defrost or hot gas defrost control functions to prevent evaporator icing and blockage.
Power Status Indication: The control panel clearly displays whether the system is currently powered by ‘mains supply’ or ‘generator supply’, alongside the operational status of each component.
